In the midst of the Enhanced Community Quarantine because of the COVID-19, SSS members are discouraged to go to SSS Branches and are advised to reach SSS in other channels for their inquiries and do transactions that are allowed to do online.
Some SSS Programs and Procedures are lifted because of the lockdown like:
- SSS Annual Confirmation of Pensioners and UMID Application are temporarily suspended in light of COVID-19
- SSS Payment Deadlines for Contributions for both Employers and Self Employed, Voluntary, Non Working Spouse are suspended
- SSS Payment Deadline for Loans are Suspended
How to reach SSS during the Enhanced Community Quarantine
1. SSS Website at My.SSS
There are several services that you can do thru the SSS Website. No need to go to the SSS Branches.

2. Text SSS (2600)
You can actually reach to SSS thru Text. It is not something you can do in a conversational, but with the right pattern and keyword, the SSS System will allow you to inquire on your SSS Information (eg. Contributions, Loans, etc), notify SSS (e.g Maternity Notification) and know a Status of your benefit application.

3. SSS Mobile App
SSS Mobile App is available in Apple and Google Play Store. We know that SSS Website is not that browser friendly. You can access your SSS Information using the SSS Mobile App.
4. SSS Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS)
When you call the SSS IVRS, it is like you are listening from Alexa or Siri. You just press the right number and follow the correct sequence and the IVRS will answer your inquiry (e.g Benefit Status, Loan Balance, Last posted Contributions, etc).
5. SSS Email
You may email at member_relations@sss.gov.ph on your general inquiry. If it is regarding the Payment Reference Number, you may also reach PRNHelpline@sss.gov.ph.
Do not forget to attach your proof of identification (UMID or any valid ID) and state briefly and clearly your intention.
6. SSS Social Media Account
You may reach the Official SSS Facebook Account. There are SSS Employees actively and answering queries in the page. Make sure to message the page privately especially when sending your Personal Information like SSS Numbers, Name and Contact Number.
