How to Get your SSS PRN thru Text: A Step by Step Guide

Since January 2018, the SSS has implemented a new way of paying Contributions and it is by first obtaining the SSS Payment Reference number (PRN). SSS Voluntary paying members are required to get the SSS PRN every month or quarter depending on the applicable month that they will be paying. The SSS PRN aims to accurately and immediately post SSS Contributions payment.

Since its implementation, SSS has deployed several ways on How to Get SSS PRN for SSS members to easily get theirs.

Step by step on How to Get Your SSS PRN thru Text

To get your SSS Payment Reference Number thru Text, you need to first have a Cellphone with Simcard (the phone need not to be a smart phone), and at least Php5 regular load. If it is your first time to use it, you need at least Php5 regular load to successfully get your SSS PRN but we suggest that you have more than that as an allowance just in case you mistyped or wrongfully send a keyword. If it is your succeeding attempt to get your SSS PRN thru text, then you only need Php2.5 but only if you sent the keyword correctly.

The SSSText Program charges Php2.50 per transaction so better to double check your information and that you are carefully following the keyword format before clicking send.

1. Register your SSS Number in the SSSText Program

   Keyword is SSS REG <SSS Number> <Date of Birth in mm/dd/yyyy> then send to 2600
   Example: SSS REG 3412345678 01/01/1980

   

2. Wait for your SSS PIN

   The SSS Text Program will reply of your successful registration together with your PIN. Keep your PIN as it will be your password every time you will be transacting thru SSSText.

3. Text your SSS PRN details by following the Keyword format:

   Keyword: SSS PRN <SSS PIN> <SSS Number> <Date of Birth in mm/dd/yyyy> then send to 2600
   Example: SSS PRN 3412345678 65475 01/01/1980

4. Your SSS PRN for Quarterly Payment will be sent by the system including your Payment Deadline.

   You may just directly send this keyword SSS PRN <SSS PIN> <SSS Number> <Date of Birth in mm/dd/yyyy> to get your PRN for next month or next quarter.
