How to Register as an SSS Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW)
The SSS OFW coverage covers all OFWs not over 60 years old, whether previously a member or not. The coverage of an OFW takes effect upon payment of the first monthly contribution as an OFW.

If you do not have yet an SSS Number and you are already abroad, you can register for an SSS Number online. Just choose the Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) as your purpose and supply the Country you are working and your Monthly Salary. Just submit your supporting documents when you have time visiting the SSS Branch near you.

To register, the member will just visit the SSS office and secure an Overseas Worker Record Form (SSS Form OW-1). Fill out the form and submit with any of the following documents: Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate, Passport, Driver’s license, PRC Card, Seaman’s Book.

How much is my Monthly Contribution as an SSS OFW Member?

The Basis of the monthly contributions will be monthly earnings declared at the time of registration, computed in Philippine pesos.

How and Where to Pay SSS Contributions and SSS Loan in Saudi
SSS members in Saudi may pay their SSS contributions and loan amortizations through any of the following accredited banks and its foreign tie-ups in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia:

  • Telemoney Center – PNB and RCBC
  • Tahweel Al Rajhin – BDO
  • Enjaz Remittance – AUB and ABS-CBN
  • Skyfreight (Ventaja International) – Online payment outlet

Can I increase/decrease the amount of my monthly contribution?

Yes, just make sure that it will not be less than 550php and not increase to more than 2 step from the Contributions Table.

SSS BENEFITS and LOAN PRIVILEGES

OFWs are entitled to various benefits and loan privileges, provided qualifying conditions for entitlement are met. To ensure higher benefits and privileges you can continue to pay your monthly contributions until you reach the age of 60 or 65 years old.

How to Monitor if my SSS Contribution and Loan Payment is being credited to my account when I am abroad?

You can regularly monitor your SSS Account and Membership by registering to the SSS Online Account Online and check your Actual Premiums and Loan balance.
