Good news to all SSS Members specially those who are voluntarily paying their SSS Contributions (eg. Self Employed, Voluntary, OFW and Non Working Spouse), you can now pay your SSS Contributions PRN via ShopeePay and as of May 2022, no additional charge for this transaction.

Inside the Shopee app, aside from online shopping is you may also pay your bills and even transfer funds to other ShopeePay user.

How to Sign up on Shopee?
- You just need to have a mobile number. Signup with Shopee using Mobile No. You will receive an One Time Password (OTP) on your mobile no. Fill it up on your Shopee app, then you are now registered.
- Nominate your password. Your password must be 8-16 characters long and should contain at least one uppercase and one lowercase character.

How to Pay your SSS Contributions Payment Reference Number (PRN) using Shopee’s ShopeePay?
1. Login first to your SSS Mobile App then generate your Contributions Payment Reference Number.
On my sample screen, my last posted contribution is March 2022. Click the Generate PRN. Your PRN is the 14 character number that starts in VE, SE or OFW just like the highlighted number in the second picture below. Take note of your Payment Reference Number and Amount.

2. Open your Shopee App. Make sure that you have already activated your ShopeePay and your ShopeePay already has an enough fund for your SSS Contributions Payment.
3. Browse at the middle part of the homepage of your Shopee App towards the Loads, Bills & Travels. Click the “Government Services” button.
4. Click the SSS Contributions menu.
5. Then the SSS Contributions Payment Screen will display. Enter your PRN on the Account No textfield. Then the Amount of your PRN on the Amount text field.
You can browse thru the “Claim your Vouchers here” section where you can get a Discount or Cashback on your payment.
- Shopee has a reminder on the Contributions PRN that you will pay.
- Only contribution and payments from self-employed, voluntary, non-working spouse and OFWs are currently accepted. The following identifier of every payor type.
- S – Self-Employed (Sample: S07180000005874)
- V – Voluntary (Sample: V07180000005874)
- N – Non Working Spouse (Sample: N07180000005874)
- O- OFW (Sample: N07180000005874)
Employer payments are not accepted in the channel.
Enter the Payment Reference Number (PRN) in the account number field.
Enter exact amount to be paid.
Check if ALL information are correct before continuing. User shall take full responsibility for submitting the correct information.
Shopee shall not be held liable for inaccurate information shared by the user.
6. Select the Payment Channel that you will use for paying. As of May 2022, accepted Payment Channel is thru ShopeePay only. Make sure that your ShopeePay balance is equal or greater than the amount of PRN that you will be paying.
7. Click the Pay Now button on the lower right part of the screen.
8. You will be required to enter your ShopeePay MPIN. After successfully passing the authentication, your transaction will proceed and the Success confirmation screen will be displayed.
9. Posting of SSS PRN Payment via GCash is Real Time.
10. Go back to your SSS Mobile App/ Online Account and see if your Payment Reference Number is already posted.
In this tutorial, we created and paid a SSS Contributions Payment Reference number for April 2022 only amounting to 1,560. And after paying thru ShopeePay, it is immediately posted on my SSS Account.
