Since January 2018, the SSS has implemented a nationwide change in paying for SSS Contributions for both SSS Employers and Voluntary Paying members.
For SSS Voluntary paying members, before, you just have to accomplish the R5-Form or the Payment Form or use the payment facilities of banks (if available) to pay for your SSS Contributions monthly or quarterly, or yearly (for OFW). But now, you first have to get your SSS Payment Reference Number from the SSS Website or SSS Branch before you can pay your contributions to the SSS Branches that has Tellering Facility or any of the following partner banks and non-banks partners.
For Employers, priorly, they are either using the R3 File Generator to create their monthly remittance list or is paying thru Bank Facilities. But under the new Real Time Posting of Contributions (RTPC) project of the SSS where the PRN is introduced, the Employer has to prepare their monthly collection list on time in the SSS website to obtain the Payment reference Number before paying it in the SSS branches that has Tellering Facility or any of the accredited partner banks and non-bank partners.

As of August 24, 2018, the following are the SSS Partner banks and non-banks are only accredited to receive the SSS Payment Reference Number for Employers and Voluntary paying members.

SSS added that some other banks and payment partners are currently enhancing their system to become RTPC-compliant in order to receive contribution payments using the PRN.

Zaira Jane, yong SSS contribution mo ng 2018 need mong bayaran till December 2018. Kasi di mo na pueding bayaran yon sa 2019.
