Do you know that you can receive SSS Updates thru text message? If you are not online often and cannot check your posting of your SSS Contributions religiously and cannot follow new program updates from SSS, then this is a very good facility for all SSS members!
Updates like:
- Posting of your SSS contribution payments for the applicable month
- Advisories on new facility/program (e.g Sickness maternity filing thru SSS Website)
- Advisories on some scams and trending topics regarding SSS
Be aware that SSS text messages comes as SSS as the sender and not as an unknown and identified number.
If you want to receive such updates, then go to your nearest SSS Branch, accomplish an E-4 or Member Data Amendment form. Put your current and correct Mobile Number. Then submit to the SSS Member Representative Officers.

You may create your SSS online account at http://www.sss.gov.ph. When u login to your account, you can check your contributions if it is regularly being remitted by your employer
