Checking your outstanding SSS Loan balance is now easy and can be done online! Which means, you need not to go to any SSS Branch and wait in line or hurry to beat their 8am-5pm office schedule.
Why it is important for you to check your outstanding SSS Loan Balance (and other Loan Information)?
- You need to check if your employer (if you are employed) is religiously and completely remitting your SSS Loan payment every month. You may see your Credited Payments on SSS Loan Statement of Account to verify if your employer did their part. If you see a lapsed payment on your SSS Loan payment, immediately reach your Human Resource specifically the person in charge with Payroll or Benefits to clarify if payment is already done, and for them to coordinate with SSS if there is wrong posting of SSS payments.
- If you are a voluntary member, it means that paying your SSS Loan is on voluntary basis also. You need to take note of your Monthly Amortization (the amount you should pay every month) and your Due Date.
- If your employer (if employed) or you (if voluntary member) missed the deadline or lapsed in your SSS Loan payment, your SSS Loan Balance will accumulate a penalty and interest. If you became a delinquent loan borrower, you will be surprised one day that your outstanding loan balance have already doubled or tripled. If you have been a delinquent SSS loan borrower, you may wait for announcement for SSS Loan Condonation.
Here is an easy step by step guide on How to Check your Outstanding SSS Loan balance Online?
- Type www.sss.gov.ph to your browser’s address bar. The SSS Website works best in Internet Explorer 8. The SSS Inquiries tried to use other browser (e.g Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox) but some links that should pop upon your mouse hover does not show, or do not work when clicked. You can also go to this link.
- Log in to your account. Enter your correct User ID and Password. If it so happen that your SSS Online Account is locked, Here is a tutorial on how to reset your locked SSS Online Account.

If you forgot your password, you can now Self-Reset your password on My.SSS Account.
If you are not able to see the menu after you are able to sign in, it is because there is a Browser Incompatibility issue. You might be using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or other browsers aside from Internet Explorer 11.
Here is the trick on how to navigate in full the SSS Website using Google Chrome or Mozilla.
- On the E-SERVICES menu which is in the second higher menu, click INQUIRY. The Member Inquiry information will show. On the third level menu, hover your mouse pointer on LOANS then click LOAN STATUS/LOAN INFO.
- Your LOAN INFORMATION will show.
- On the lower part of the page, List of your Availed Loan(s) will show. The one that is on the top most of the list is your latest Loan (if ever you have already availed multiple loans before). Click the top most SALARY LOAN link and the page will show you the relevant information of your loan (e.g LOAN DATE, CHECK NUMBER, CHECK AMOUNT, MONTHLY Amortization amount, etc).
To view your Outstanding Loan Balance, click the Statement of Account and Loan Payment link that is located on the top left part of the page.
- The Statement of Account of your loan will be generated/computed as of Current Date.
Take note that the TOTAL Amount of Obligation is your Outstanding Loan Balance. It is the sum of the Amount Not Yet Due and the Total Amount Due (Past + Current Due) including the penalties and interests (if there is any).
- At the lower part of the page, you can see your CREDITED PAYMENTS. It displays all your SSS Loan Payment ordered by Post Date.

its been a month,nung nag send ako ng email regarding sa re-setting ng account ko until now wala pa reply.. nag co-comply po ba talaga ang customer assistant ng sss?
Wala ba kayong balak ayusin ang p*&$@?$ng website nyo? I can't view my static information. And from what I've read from other places, this particular functionality has been down for a very long time. No wonder the public has always perceived gov't services like SSS as cesspools of incompetence. Server problem lang yan. Any two-bit IT person can fix it even with eyes closed. Or is the site run by vitamin-deficient monkeys?
