How to get Payment Reference Number(PRN) for Voluntary Paying SSS Members?
Per SSS Circular 2017-010, effective January 16, 2018, SSS implements electronic Collectin System (e-CS) to faciliate real time recording/posting of SSS Contribution payments. For individual members (Self-employed, Voluntary, OFWs), one of the requiremnts is the mandatory use of Payment Reference Number (PRN) in the payment of contributions through any payment center.

- Login to your SSS Online Account

- Click Payment Reference Number (PRN)
- You will view your Payment Reference Number and the Applicable Month and your payable amount. The amount is based on your previous contribution.
- Click Print Statement of Account and view the Statement of Account PDF
- Print and present to the SSS Teller
Change SS Amount Contribution and Applicable Month

- If you wish to change your SSS Contribution like if you want to increase your SSS Contribution for the month or If you want to pay for advance like 6 months or 1 year, click the Edit SOA button.
- Put your desired SSS Amount of Contribution or the From and To of the Applicable Month that you wanted to pay.
Save then Print Statement of Account. Present the SOA to SSS Teller or any Accredited SSS Payment Partner.

We have a problem with the online application of SSS. Yesterday, we process the online application then nakapag process po kami until end nag ok naman po. The question is bibigyan niyo po ba kami ng temporary password para maopen namin yung account kasi po up to now wala pa po kami narereceive na email coming from sss. Ganyan din po ang problema ko. Hindi makapag log-in. Kelangan ng password sa login e hindi naman nirequire ang PW sa registration. May email na dumating pero sa activation na link walang nangyayari. Nag email na ako sa sss hindi naman sumasagot. May pa-online-online pa hindi naman convenient. Paano yung mga hindi marunong mag-computer lalo na mga senior hehe.

You cannot change the applicable month, you have to wait until all has been processed which takes 1-3 days I guess. For example yung babayaran niyo is March 2018 (due date is April 10), mag online kayo ng March 16-April 8 para mas sure.

Hello po. I’ve just talked with an SSS officer today and according to her, yung payments daw po na di nabayaran previously (example, March) ay thru MANUAL (r5) babayaran with corresponding penalties na po. PRN generates current month billing lang po kasi kaya April na talaga ang magegenerate.

YES, as per mine, sa Bayad Center din ako nagbayad as Voluntary member, hinde nila hininge ung PRN ang hininge lang nila is ung SSS number ko.Then upon checking sa SSS online registration ( nag create kasi ako ng account don para ma view ko ung mga contributions ko) pumasok or posted nman ung hulog ko, it takes 3 working days nga lang bago ma post ng Bayad Center. Better create an account para ma view nyo mga hulog nyo or ano man ung concern nyo regarding SSS. Hope this will help, ung reply ko 🙂

Ako nakapagbayad ako sa LBC with out PRN ( voluntary member din ako) Meron ako PRN pero ang hininge lang nila ay ung SSS number ko, check ko nman cya sa online account ko (SSS online) eh pumasok nman ung payment ko.

Hi! I also had the same problem, whenever I click the “EDIT SOA”, the page displays Web Page Blocked.
Try doing this instead!
Visit https://portal.sss.gov.ph and try editing your SOA there.
That’s SSS’ beta website and the EDIT SOA works there! I hope this helps!
