The SSS has various facilities open to make SSS transactions easier for members. SSS Transactions (like Inquiry on Contributions, Loans and Benefits, Filing of Salary Loan and other SSS Benefit) to various channels like Over the Counter Services in their branches nationwide, Self Service KIOSK located on some malls, online facilities thru the SSS Website and text message. The TEXT SSS Mobile Service is suitable for SSS Members that do not have access to the internet, and those who want to save time and money going to SSS Branch. Like the BDO’s tag line, SSS find ways to serve its customers.
Instruction on How to Use SSS Text Service
You first have to register on the SSS Text Service
To register, text SSS REG <SS Number> <Date of Birth in MM/DD/YY Format>
Example: SSS REG 031234567 01/01/80
Then send to 2600 for Globe, Smart and Sun Cellular subscribers. All keywords must be sent to 2600. You will be charged P2.50 per text for Globe and Smart Subscribers. P2.00 for Sun Cellular Subscribers. Rates may change without prior notice.
You will receive a message from 2600 containing your PIN. After you have received the text confirmation, you may now use the SSS Text Services. Save your PIN because you will use it on your later SSS Text Service Transaction.
To know your SSS Contribution, text SSS CONTRIB <SS Number> <PIN> then send to 2600.
Example: SSS CONTRIB 031234567 2266</strong
To get your SSS Payment Reference Number, text SSS PRN <SS Number> <PIN> <Date of Birth in mm/dd/yyyy> then send to 2600
Example: SSS PRN 031234567 2266 01/01/2019
To submit your Maternity Notification (for Self Employed and voluntary members)
Text SSS MATERNITYNOTIF <SSNumber> <PIN> <Expected Delivery Date MM/DD/YYYY> <Total Number of Pregnancies (including this pregnancy)> then send to 2600.
To check your Loan Application Status, simply text SSS LOANSTAT <SS Number> <PIN> then send to 2600.
To check your Remaining loan balance, simply text SSS LOANBAL <SS Number> <PIN> then send to 2600.
You may also check the status of your Benefit Application by using the following keyword:
- SSS STATUS Sickness <SS Number> <PIN>
- SSS STATUS Disability <SS Number> <PIN>
- SSS STATUS Maternity <SS Number> <PIN>
- SSS Status Retirement <SS Number> <PIN>
- SSS STATUS Funeral <SS Number> <PIN>
- SSS STATUS Death <SS Number> <PIN>
If you have forgotten your PIN, you can always reset it via text inquiry service, Just text SSS RESET <SS Number> <Date of Birth> then send to 2600.

To get the list of requirements on SS ID, OFW registration, Self Employed Registration, and change in membership data, key in:

- SSS SELF
- SSS CHANGE
To know the required documents for benefit claims, text the following:
