Who are the SSS Voluntary Members:
Members who are Self-Employed, Voluntary, Non Working House wife, and OFW.
Why should we follow the SSS Payment Deadline?
- It should be a goal of the SSS Voluntary members to regularly pay their SSS Contribution and Loan. For SSS Contribution, it is ideal that you pay every month (no lapse) since there are qualifying conditions for an SSS Benefit. We do not know the time when we will need an SSS Benefit (e.g Sickness, Disability).
- For Self Employed, Voluntary and Non Working House wife, there are no retro active payment policy. It means you are not allowed to pay for the months that are from the previous quarter or earlier.
- For SSS Loan payment, your loan balance will accumulate penalty and interest. And it is compounding by the way. If you are not observing the payment deadline, and are habitually late in paying your SSS Loan, do not be surprised that your outstanding balance is bigger than your computation.
For OFW members:
- You are allowed to pay for the whole year in advance. Or until the January of the next year. For example, If you are going to pay for your 12 month contribution of 2015, you have until January 2016 (following the last digit deadline) to pay.
For Self Employed, Voluntary, Non Working Spouse:
- Check the end digit of your SSS number. If your end digit is 5, then your payment deadline is the 20th of the following month. It means that your Loan/SSS Premium payment for June 2016 can still be paid until July 20th. See image below for the schedule of payment
- You can also pay for your SSS Premium Contribution quarterly. If your end digit is 5, then you can pay your 2nd quarter contribution (April-June) until July 20th. This means you can cope up for your April-June contribution if you haven’t paid yet.

Pwede po kayo mag email sa member_relations@sss.gov.ph, mag attach po kayo ng 2 valid id as proof of identity. sabihin nyo po sa email na di nyo na po alam ung ss number nyo

Kung kayo po ay dating may trabaho at may hulog na sa SSS, maari po kayong diretsong magbayad na as voluntary member.

Hello po ask ko lang hindi ko po nabayaran ang sss contribution self employed para sa feb-june 2018 pwd ko po ba bayaran ng buo ng july?

May deadline po ang pagbabayad ng SSS Contribution. Wala pong penalty dahil di n po tatanggapin ang bayad nyo for late SSS Contribution.

Hindi po. Para sa SSS Voluntary members, maari lamang pong bayaran ang nakaraang buwan na sakop ng current quarter. Kung ngayon ay November, under po ito ng 4th quarter ng taon. Ang maari lamang pong bayaran ay ang October, November, December ng 2016.
Ofw po ang mama ko. Gusto po sana namin icontinue ang hulog niya. At nabasa ko po na pwedeng 1 year ang babayaran ng biglaan, magkano po ba ang minimum contribution ng ofw sa isang buwan. Para po sana mabudget namin kung magkano ang pang isang taon.
At least 550 pesos po ang contribution para sa OFW.

Hello Kyle, Yes pwede kang magbayad ng quarterly as Voluntary member. Pwede mong bayaran ang iyong SSS Premium contribution for January - March sa April. Iobserve lang ang payment deadline base sa ending digit ng iyong SSS Number.
Hi sssinquiries! First ko nagbayad ng sss loan sa bayad center last feb. 23 but until di parin sya posted online. Ilang araw po magrereflect yung payment thru bayad centers? Thanks!
Hi. I paid thru Metrobank branch my loan payments last July 2016 but until now it has not been posted. As per Metrobank they will post the payment just this Feb 2017. Upon checking thru phone call, SSS staff said that no payments were posted as of this time. I cannot also check thru online since my online account was locked out thru to numerous attempt of password. First how can I unlocked my account, Ive already emailed the member_relations@sss.gov.ph and second, when paying thru bank or any payment center aside from sss branch, how long will it be posted. Hi! I went to your branch yesterday to inquire about my maternity benefits, my due date is on July. I changed my status from EE to VM. your representative told me that i need to pay this quarter (January to March) to avail the benefit since i stopped working last year (without contribution). but i noticed that my last SSS # is 2, so my due date is on the 10th day of the month. So paano yun, today is march 16 na, hindi na ba tatanggapin yung hulog ko? Or pwede pa until April 10, 2017?Please reply!thank you..
