SSS Members can change incorrect data by the use of Member Data Change Request or also know as Simple Corrections. It is important to change the needed information because it will bring a problem in the nearest future when you are going to claim your benefit or apply loans from SSS. Not updating and correcting data may add delay on processing of your SSS transactions. And now, you can do this online using the your My.SSS Account.
Here are the step-by-step procedure for correcting your personal information:
- Log in to My.SSS Account via www.sss.gov.ph or click this link.
- Under the E-Services Tab point the mouse to ‘Membership Records’ then click ‘Submit Request for Member Data Change (Simple Correction)’ as seen below.
3. Choose 1 data change requested such as:
Name
Gender
Civil Status
Member Record Status

As you can see from the images above, you need to upload supporting document for your changes to be approved and updated. The supporting document must be PDF File with a maximum file size of 2MB. If you notice the blue text ‘Required Supporting Documents’, you can click it and website will display the document you need to upload. In this case, it’s a Marriage Certificate.
When you submit the file, the website will ask you if you want to confirm the request:
Then a transaction number will appear and the website will send you an email of your request whether approved or rejected.
Reminders:
- SSS Members with funeral, retirement and total disability claims are not covered by the online Simple Correction.
- For more complex data changes such as removal or additional dependents, correction of name due to naturalization, change of civil status from married to single, among others may be requested by submitting an accomplished SSS Form E4 (Member Data Change Request) and supporting documents to SSS branches location of your convenience. - As of this writing, online Simple Correction is not available at SSS Mobile App.

Qs: What are Requirements, like FORMS to filled UP, docs to be presented, how can an OFW member can do it from broad, WHEN TO DO IT, EVERYTHING that a pensioner need to KNOW to comply with the ACOP requirement.
How long is the email whether the request is approved or rejected takes?
I sent validated deposit slip (duplicate copy), first it was rejected because the response of SSS was “Document is not original copy” The 2nd time I asked the bank to give me the original and so i uploaded an original copy of the validated deposit slip but for the 2nd time it was rejected “Document is not original copy”.
