Good news! SSS offers a three-month advance pension for SS and EC pensioners affected by Tropical cyclones Henry, Inday and Josie to help our countrymen recover.
Who are qualified to apply?
Existing SS retiree, disability and survivor pensioners and EC disability and survivor pensioners whose residence are located in the calamity areas declared by the National Risk adnd Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC)
SS and EC partial disability pensioners may apply for the advance pension for the remaining months of the partial disability pension but not to exceed three months
SS and EC pensioners who have availed advance pension for the previous calamities and whose pension are still suspended may avail of the three-month advance pension for Tropical Cyclones Henry, Inday and Josie, provided that the advance pension will not exceed three months at any time
How to Avail the three-month advance pension program?
The pensioner shall:
- Submit the properly accomplished Application Form for the three-month Advance pension duly accomplished by the Barangay Chairman or shall attach to the form, a certification from any of the following as a proof that pensioner is affected by the calamity, in case Part II of the form is not accomplished:
- Barangay Chairman
- Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)
- National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC)
2. Present valid Identification Cards/Documents
Any one of the following:
- SSS Identification
- UMID
- Passport
- Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Cards
- Seaman’s book
If the application is filled by a representative of the pensioner, the representative shall submit the following:
- Authorization letter from the pensioner together with the pensioner’s photocopy of valid IDs
- Photocopy of the representative’s Identification
Where to File the application for the three-month advance pension for SSS and EC pensioners?
Application for the three-month advance pension for SSS and EC pensioners can be applied at any SSS Branch Office. Availment Period for the Calamity Loan Assistance starts on August 16 until November 12, 2018
