SSS Calamity Assistance for Typhoon-hit Areas

SSS has announced that there will be a Calamity Assistance for Typhoon-hit Areas. This is for members and pensioners in areas declared by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) as under State of Calamity due to Super Typhoon Rolly, Typhoon Quinta, and Typhoon Ulysses.

Starting Nov 27, 2020 assistance package that will be offered by SSS are the following:

  • Calamity Loan Assistance Program o CLAP (from November 27, 2020 to 26 February 2021)
  • Three-month Advance Pension for SS and Employees’ Compensation (EC) pensioners
  • Direct House Repair and Improvement Loan (for one year from the issuance of its corresponding circular)

SSS will release the complete guidelines in the next days. This is for the members who was affected by the recent typhoons. This financial assistance and benefits may help the members and pensioners during these hard times.
